Tile underlayment replacement

When a tile roof starts leaking, the problem is often deeper than the visible tile. Worn or failed underlayment can let moisture reach the roof deck, leading to hidden damage and repeated repairs.

Roofing Rescue replaces aging underlayment beneath tile roofs, helping restore reliable protection without guesswork. You get clear explanations, practical recommendations, and scheduling that makes a disruptive problem easier to handle.

• Schedule a same-day appointment when available

• Explain the findings in straightforward, practical terms
• Plan the work area with care for your home and property
• Remove tiles as needed to reach worn or damaged underlayment
• Replace the underlayment and address affected sections
• Reinstall or adjust tiles for proper roof coverage
• Review the completed work and answer any final questions

Underlayment replacement focuses on the protective layer beneath your tile roof that helps keep water out when tiles shift, crack, or wear over time. The work may involve lifting and resetting tile in the affected sections, removing worn underlayment, addressing visible problem areas, and reinstalling the roofing system so it’s ready to protect your home again with less risk of ongoing leaks.

If the crew uncovers related issues once the tile is lifted, you can expect straightforward communication about what was found, why it matters, and what options make sense before moving ahead. That way, you can make an informed next decision without surprises and get your roof—and your routine—back on track.
